Printing is a technology that transfers ink to the surface of paper, fabric, plastic, leather and other materials and copies the contents of the original in batches through the process of plate making, ink application, pressure and so on. Printing is the process of transferring the approved printing plate to the substrate through printing machinery and special ink.
15. Single powder paper packaging
a. Commonly used paper box materials, paper thickness from 80g to 400g various thickness, higher thickness is to two pairs of mounting.
b. The paper is glossy and dumb on one side, only glossy can be printed.
c. It can realize printing of all kinds of colors and has no limitation on colors.
d. After printing, the commonly used surface treatment process is: over gluing, over UV, hot stamping, bump.
Remark: For this type of box, BOPP thermal lamination matte film could be use on the outter face. It also offers excellent effects in applications of spot UV, hot stamping and screen printing. With special treatment based on Matte film, BOPP Soft touch film and BOPP Anti scratch film are popularly used for book covers, magazines, brochures, deluxe gift boxes, mobilephone boxes etc.
16. Corrugated board packaging
a. Compared with ordinary paper, it is more straight and load-bearing.
b. Commonly used are single pit, double pit and three pit.
c. It can achieve printing of various colors, but the effect is not as good as single powder.
d. After printing, the commonly used surface treatment process is: over gluing, over UV, hot stamping, bump.
17. Ordinary cardboard packaging
a. It is used for making gift box structure, with a layer of single powder paper or special paper mounted on the surface.
b. The commonly used colors are black, white, gray and yellow.
c. There are also various grades of cardboard thickness, according to the load-bearing needs to choose.
d. If it is mounted with single powder, the process is the same as that of single powder box; if it is special paper, most of them can only be hot stamped, some of them can be simply printed, but the printing effect is not good.

18. Special paper packaging
a. There are many kinds of special paper. Here we only talk about what we use in packaging materials: embossing paper, patterned paper, pearlescent patterned paper, metal patterned paper, gold paper, etc.
b. These paper can improve the quality of packaging by special treatment. Embossing and embossing can not be printed, only surface hot stamping, Star color, gold and other four-color printing.
19. Gold and silver cardboard packaging
a. UV transfer technology is used to apply a layer of UV oil on the surface of the paper through the blanket, and then transfer the light column film or specific pattern to the printed paper through the roller, so that the light column on the surface of the paper has the effect of laser paper.
b. It can only be printed by UV machine. All kinds of pattern effects can be achieved. It has more texture and different kinds of luster than ordinary paper. But the costs are relatively dry.
Remark: For this type of box, PET metalized thermal film ould be use on the outter face, Gold and Silver colors.
